Tidal Wave

For some reason, Tidal Wave from Armada is one of my most favorite Transformers characters. He's big, he's dumb, he's angry, and he's unstoppable. He's also cool toy. Yeah, that last one is probably it.

The Tidal Wave toy differs in coloration between the Hasbro release and the Japanese version, but I used the colors from the anime on this image, which is closer to the Japanese toy but still a little different. Then I put him in a rising-from-the-ocean scene with a dark color scheme. I also added rain then lastly put some spatter and dripping water, though I'm not sure if that came out OK.

This was done as part of a themed drawing challenge I started on Cybertron.ca. The theme was "Water".
