Finished Fall 2018, Clip Studio Paint
I participated in an art challenge where we had to interpret what would happen if another character from popular culture became Spawn. And so I chose Optimus Prime.
It was cool to take the details from Prime and "Spawnify" them, like putting spikes on the tires and making certain parts more jagged looking, and I had fun going through my Spawn comics to capture some of the style from the early issues. I tried to make it look like there was an organic coating to the surface, so it was not just metal. The energon axe is now inspired by Spawn's axe from Soul Caliber 2.
