Finished Fall 2016, Clip Studio Paint.
This was a fun experiment to try and replicate the style of the original black and white TMNT comics by Mirage Studios, but combine that look with a stylized, simplified body and some bright colors. I think the result, with the crosshatching screen tone effect on top of the color, is kind of cool, and I really liked drawing and inking this way. The background is an homage to the cover of the first issue.
