It's a painting of InuYasha. Sit boy.
Many years ago I did another painting of Inu Yasha with his sword and a green background. I wound up not liking it in the long run. So as part of a painting class I was teaching, I tried again and used it as an example of the process. It came out all right.
The green background works as part of the forest setting that the series often had, as well as being complimentary to InuYasha's red clothing.
