From the popular anime series, here is the wonderfully eccentric Haruhi Suzumiya.
I painted this as part of a class I was teaching. I wanted to make this a nice close up of her face, which meant that there wasn't much that could be done with a background. I I just made the back all red and put some red into the shadows to really tie the whole image together.
