A painting of the world famous anime character Astro Boy as he appears in the Astro Boy Movie.
This was an example I did as part of a painting class I taught. I let my students pick the color of the background. Did my best to add a lot of richness to the colors for a nice artistic look.
You wouldn't think so from looking at him, but Astro is actually a very hard character to draw. It takes some precision to get it right.
