Because of the overwhelmingly positive response to my Justice League of Anime artwork I decided to revisit the concept and draw the team again, only this time with my own composition.
Cyborg 009, Cutie Honey, Lupin III, Goku, Sailor Moon, Captain Harlock, and Astro Boy: The ultimate team of anime heroes, united against tyranny and oppression! The Justice League of Anime!
This time around, I wanted to unify the character designs with some inked line art, and then give them some slick, cel-shaded colors with up to 5 tones. Most modern anime doesn't have that many layers of color anymore, but this is special so I went for it.
